Our Statement of Faith

Article II.  Purpose

The focus and mission of Caney Creek Cowboy Church is to be led by the Holy Spirit to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, to train all in Biblical Truth and to have a community based in faith and fellowship.

Article III.  Statement of Faith

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and is the basis of our statement of faith.  Caney Creek Cowboy Church is committed, as a body of believers in Jesus Christ, to share the good news of salvation to mankind.

We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity should be engaged in, outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.  We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, transgenderism, bestiality, same sex marriage, incest, fornication, adultery, sexually oriented businesses and pornography are all sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex.  We believe that marriage should only be between a natural born male and a natural born female.  As a statement of faith, we will not allow any of the church’s facilities to be used by any one or group that is in violation of our faith and practice.
